Beermats of the Year Awards
Every year the Society holds a National meeting where they try to obtain as many mats as possible issued during the previous 12 months for sale to members. The society officials then choose what they consider the most attractive mats & display them at the event so the members can vote on what they think should be ‘Single Mat of the Year’ & ‘Set Mats of the Year’.
2019 Mats of the year
The Mat of the year was Cat 1 from HORSFORTH BREWERY from Horsforth, West Yorkshire
The Set Mats of the year were Cats 1-4 from EDEN RIVER BREWERY from Penrith, Cumbria.
2018 Mats of the year
The Mat of the year was Cat 1 from SAEBURH from Tendring in Essex
The Set Mats of the year were Cats 5-8 from CANTERBURY Ales from Chartham, near Canterbury, Kent.
2017 Mats of the year
The Mat of the year was Cat 2 from CWM RHONDDA ALES from Treorchy, Mid Glamorgan, Wales
