There’s lots of benefits of joining the Society if you’re interested in beermats and collecting. You’ll make contact with lots of like-minded people, many of whom will gladly help you grow your collection and assist in hunting down that hard to find mat. You’ll find out how we catalogue the mats, what new mats have been found, hints and tips on collecting and all about the history of beermats and the society.
Beermat Catalogues
These are now FREE to all our members.
Part 1 – British Brewery Mat Catalogues A – Z.
Part 2 – Catalogues for Foreign Breweries in the UK, BBCS Mats, Beer Festivals, Brandy, Brewery Mention &
Overprints/Backprints. Brewery Tandem, Cider (British). Cider (Foreign). East of England Show etc. Food, Forces &.
Allied Services, Gin, Hotel, Pub & Club Mentioning a Brewery, Mats Made From Plastic & Other Materials.
Reproduction Mats & Home Brews & Pretend Breweries & Pubs, Rum, Vodka.
Simply contact the society using the form on the website.
1. Enter your name and email address
2. In the message section, just put your membership number and let us know which of the Catalogue Parts you require (or both).
3. Once we have received it we’ll check to ensure your membership is current and then send you an email from us via wetransfer.com
which will include a link to download your required files. You’ll then have 7 days in which to download them (if you don’t download them within the timeframe
the link will expire and you’ll need to re-request again).
All the files are Word .doc format and are updated each month within a few days of the monthly newsletter being issued.
Monthly Magazine
Monthly Magazine:
We issue a monthly magazine for all members. The magazine contains news and info on the BBCS, articles from BBCS members and full listings of new issues and recently discovered old issues and any amendments to existing catalogue entries. As a member you are able to update your catalogues on a monthly basis from the details in the monthly magazine. Back copies of the magazine can be downloaded from within the Members Area.
Society Shop
Each month we produce a list of beermats that are available from the Society Shop. Lists come with the montly Magazine. From the shop you can catch up with many new issues and also buy older issues when available.
Membership Lists
As part of your membership pack you will receive a list of current members and their contact details enabling you to contact fellow members to obtain and swap mats. Each monthly magazine lists new member’s contact details and a full list is kept up to date in the Members Area
Meetings
We hold regular closed meetings around the country and each year hold a national meeting. As a member of the BBCS you will be able to attend all meetings and meet up with fellow collectors from both home and abroad. Further details of meetings and upcoming dates can be found on our Meetings page.

Under 19’s, students and over 60’s will be eligible for a reduced fee.
ALL members, both those who live in the UK or abroad who elect to have the newsletter by e mail only will pay the same annual subscription; Full fee £15-00. Reduced fee £10-00
